Even though Mack states many ways on how Shakespeare worked he doesn't give us reasons why they would affect us later in life. Will this be beneficial? For instance, Mack could have explained how literature teaches you about life and how it could benefit you in the future. Other than Mack not showing how Shakespeare could be beneficial to people in the real world, he makes an effectual argument on why people should read Shakespeare.
In the final analysis, Mack shows that Shakespeare is not pointless and boring and that he teaches more about life, beauty, and purposes.
