Deoxyribonucleic Acid better known as DNA is housed in the cell’s nucleus where the genetic material is. DNA is a long molecule that forms a double helix, folded inside of the nucleus of the cell. The double strand of DNA is held together by hydrogen bonds. The double helix of DNA run head to tail. DNA is typically millions of base pair long (Shier, Butler, Lewis, 2016, p.94). Deoxyribonucleic Acid is one type of nucleic acid with the sequence of building blocks that hold information that produce genetic coding through the manufacture of proteins. When it comes to human cells, DNA molecules pass from mother (the egg) and father (the sperm) to the offspring; as the offspring develop, information is passed by mitosis into the DNA sequence of chromosomes to new cells. Copying or replication of a long length of DNA is challenging when a cell divides, but a special set of enzymes correctly and quickly carries the process out. The base of DNA may be any one of the four types in a nucleotide: thymine(T), guanine (G), cytosine (C), or adenine (A). The double strand of DNA is held together by hydrogen bonds.
Ribonucleic Acid better known as RNA is a protein single strand composed of molecules and its nucleotides contain ribose. This is another type of nucleic acid that includes sugar ribose rather

It is useful from a medical standpoint, because it can aid in the treatment of disease and damaged genes. We use recombinant DNA technology in medicine by the creation of human insulin for people who are diabetic. A second way we use it in medicine is with the creation of vaccination by cloning genes used protection antigen protein. Last but not lease, a third was recombinant DNA technology is used in medicine by creating a growth hormone that’s used to treat
