Nutrition is important for healthy life. Many people are still hungry around the world even though there is mass production of food. This is because of unhealthy food production. In today’s world we see many obese people because of high intake of high fat and cholesterol containing food. It is important to have a healthy diet/ nutritional intake for individuals to have good foundation for physical and mental health. Now a day’s healthy food is getting more expensive rather than unhealthy food. Poor people are forced to eat unhealthy food, while the rich can afford to eat whatever the please. For example they know fresh fruits and vegetables are good for one’s health and provide proper nutrition to their family, but they can’t afford it. The Government provides money through food stamp programs to help low income people, but, high nutritional foods like fruits and vegetables are so expensive that many of these families lack proper nutrition and become food insecure at end of the month. Sometimes young single mothers have to skip food or eat inexpensive junk food to feed their children. In conclusion, socio economic factors faced by young single women should be taken care of by government through the reduction of prices on nutritional food. Such organization like WHO (World Health Organization), Church Community Services, Houston Food Bank supports families in very low economic situation by supplying healthy food. In this condition many people lose their job, some people have low income job the cause them to have low cost junk food in their diet. This kind of food is lack of vitamins, minerals and necessary elements for the body. With the help of private or government organization makes a vast change in family’s life and also helps to decrease the ratio of health disease and maintain the economic condition of country. In conclusion, food insecurity has become a universal issue. In almost all parts of the world, people lack a proper diet. They are forced to eat whatever they can
