Based on my analysis of dell’s finances and competitors, we have declined in revenue by about 6% year-over-year to 14 billion in the company’s quarter ending in July of 2014. Securities and exchange commission by Dell holding Inc. that owns Dell is the way we found out about this new. Dell’s revenues was up however in the company’s fiscal year ending in January 2015, the revenue went up about 5%. That actually sets them apart from its huge competitors like IBM Corp. and Hewlett-Packard Co. We also know that Dell took a hit because in 2013 Dell’s company’s operating profit hit 4 billion and in 2015 the operating profit only hit 3.2 billion. That .8 billion probably doesn’t seem like a lot but for a company like dell it probably hurts them.

Dell has been losing revenue since 2013 until now. I know Dell has a lot of debit that they own other companies

The total net profit of Dell has experienced a percentage increase from 2015 to 2016 because of the new EMC deal. The difference was like from 5.7 percent in 2015 to 9 percent in 2016 which says that Dell was able to see a lot more money earned through its operations. Well, like I said the reason for that small increase in percentage changes was the EMC deal that was the biggest thing that Dell has done in a while. While cost of goods sold in 2016 went down by a really small percentage from the previous year. That resulted in the growth of Dell’s gross profit and comparatively net income. These differences are not huge changes as they were all less than 18 or 10 percent. May be small, but these changes certainly had a big contributed to the overall gaining of the company and says that its operations through the common size income statement are surely better.
