Abstract
My paper is important because it telling a story of how it was in the late hundreds. The women these days wouldn’t want to live back then. The women were use for household work and sometimes for sexual reasons. The men only had to work at factories and lift heavy things. I glad I was back in those days because I would have been got killed.
The Barbary Slave Trade
The Barbary Slave Trade was referred to the white slave market that was located on the Barbary Coast. In the 16th and 19th centuries there were some, more or less independent states in the North Africa. These states together were known as the Barbary States and what they were famous for were the Corsair. Basically these peoples were known as pirates whose primary trade was a raid coastal town. In Mediterranean and estimated up to 1.25 million European were enslaved by the so-called Barbary Corsairs. They were known as the White Slaves of Barbary. The slaves captured by the Barbary Pirates faced a bad future. Some of them died on the way to North Africa due to disease or lack of food and water. The Barbary pirates took all kinds of people’s whites, black, brown and others. The pirates were not only Muslims they was English and other cultures. They treated the peoples very wrong.
