Girls would like to wear ripped jeans and shirts that show their shoulder, but they can’t because a girl would get dress coded for that. Teenage boys can also buy clothes from their favorite stores, such as hollister or american eagle. Both of these stores sell mens ripped jeans. Teenage girls cannot buy jeans from these stores because they are ripped. How could something like this be fair at all. If gender biased dress code continues, girls could grow up to not be confident or independent. They might not know how to express themselves. They might think that they have to follow stereotypes. Possibly even grow up to believe that not being treated equal is okay. How can schools continue to let this
