Energy is needed to provide the basic needs such as: food, production, transportation, housing manufacturing, construction, and many other things. We depend on so many things, especially in the U.S. Our biggest energy source are the fossil fuels and we are no longer limiting the amounts of how much we use up. I would say we have reached a certain peak in which we have used up all of our fossil fuel resources that the supply is decreasing. As long as supply keeps decreasing, and demand rising, there will be a major shift prices increasing drastically. We’ve consumed too much oil that we are running out of it. In order to preserve the amounts we have left, I strongly encourage the Congress of the United States to promote more eco-friendly techniques and policies involving sustainable renewable energy. The U.S. needs to shift more towards renewable energy.
It is very important that we first identify where the highest energy potentials are located in order to extract the right amount and have proper placement. One of the most common renewable energy comes from the ocean currents and wind. Across the U.S. there is a high energy of wind potential located right at the center. North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas experience great amount of high speed winds. Most of the wind farms and Energy Centers are located in Iowa, Northern Texas, along the…
