Principles relate to our beliefs and our values in life. The Early Years Learning Framework provides educators with Principles to guide them in their work with children and emphases on assisting each individual child to make advancement towards the Learning Outcomes.
The five principles are the following –

Holistic approaches such as teaching and learning side by side with recognition of the mind, body and spirit. Educators need to have close attention to a child’s physical, individual, social & emotional, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing aspects of learning.
