Los Dias Feriados y Celebraciones, also known as holidays and celebrations. This is where family friends, and the society comes to together to celebrate the special holidays for their culture. There are many Los Dias Feriados y Celebraciones around the world. However, some countries celebrate them a little differently than others. Huge holiday in some countries may be celebrated differently in other countries. In my paper, I will be discussing how Spanish speaking cultures celebrate holidays. Every culture celebrates holidays differently which I believe is unique because it defines the meaning of the holidays to their culture. The other one is El día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), this takes place in México. According to Madrid Traveler, “The Spanish word for bullfighting is corrida de Toros that can be literally translated as “running of bulls”. Bullfighting is very poplar tradition in Peru. People all around Peru gather around for this wild event. The event starts with a “paseíllo”, a parade of all participants for the bullfighting event which takes place in a round arena. The second celebration which is very special for Spanish speaking cultures is El día de los Muertos. This is a holiday that is celebrated on November 1st. “Although its marked throughout Latin America, Dia de los Muertos is most strongly associated with Mexico, where the tradition originated” (National Geography, 2018). In Mexico, they do it a little differently by honoring the dead with festivals and many celebrations. People, and “Families members clean and decorate the graves of loved ones on Dia de los Muertos, create masks and dance all night.” Not all Spanish countries celebrated this, in fact the north did not celebrate it at all, and that’s to show how some cultures celebrate some holidays unlike
