There has too also be a distinction between what does the word “free” actually mean, we understand that free means we are solely responsible for making decisions and therefore are free from influence. However, I actively choose through free will to walk my dog, free will would state that I have freely made the choice to walk my dog. Although let’s say something stops me from doing so, for example I have to answer this essay instead because for example the deadline is very soon, or even simpler it snows and I’m unable to walk my dog. The question is I have free will to choose my action to walk my dog, but extenuating circumstances which have been pre-determined such as my essay or snow result in me being unable to walk him.
