Declaration of Educational Independence
First off, let me start by saying this- I feel my rights are violated and disrespected by UPrep Academy. What rights are these, you ask? Firstly, the right to not be expected to know more than we initially show we do. Secondly, the right to not be intimidated by our administration. Finally, the right to not be treated as if we’re some type of corrupted and misguided youth- so much so that a plethora of groups and extra-curricular clubs is required as a means of eradicating this”issue”. Despite the fact that this is true, should someone be under the illusion that they are enemies with you, anyone who’s watched enough cartoons knows that saying “It’s me, your friend!” never works unless the illusion is temporary. You shatter a weak and negative illusion with a significantly more powerful and definitely more positive illusion that will leave them confused and on the path back to reality. Thus, when the good children of a group of predominately bad people get included in a mass exodus of morale and happiness, it just shows how unable- or at least unwanting- the older, supposedly more mature generation
