The orthodox often includes fundamentalist protestants and evangelical Christians. Yet, some of the people belonging to these groups do not hold deep religious views. It can also be derived from Jewish and Catholic traditions. Those with an orthodox view tend to favor or support two-parent families and criticize homosexuality. The orthodox view is more conservative of the topics. Fundamentalist Protestants and evangelical Christians are grouped up the orthodox camp. The orthodox have strong conservative views about drugs, homosexuality, and sexual orientation. Opinions on topics such as the theory of evolution, the age of the universe, and women's rights all play a role in the citizens’ world view and define what the culture war consists of and how different views turn individuals against each other. The second camp are the progressives. They think personal freedom is as important as tradition; These rules change based on assets of modern life and individual preferences. The struggle between the two sets of conflicting cultural values to shape the cultural foundation of the deep social order in which we live.
