The East Asian media has become an important tool for conveying important ideas, knowledge, and skills that influence both commercial and political-engaged forms of pop culture in the society. East Asia, especially japan has rich cultural and in the recent past, they have incorporated this in the mainstream media as a way of promoting the contemporary cultures. The East Asian countries highly regard their culture and as such, they have made it an important aspect of their modern day technology. Thus, they have incorporated these cultural aspects in their media, thus promoting the culture among the people. Therefore, the increasing attention to engage in the coverage of the popular culture as a form of determining the revenue of the media, the role of media in the Japanese and entire Asian pop is far inevitable. The media is influential in commercial pop culture as form revenue collection and political engagement. In the recent day’s profession of journalism forms larger part of the cultural globalization, however, globalization moves hand in hand with dissemination of any culture from the areas of origin to reach to all people all over the world (Manabe 6). Politically, as Manabe (6) points out, popular culture has been critical in promoting political ideas across Asian countries such as Japan. The airing of protests where groups of people stood against oppressive regimes has been critical in promoting these ideas among the people.
