The twenty-first century is called the age of globalization. It is due to an active involvement of media. No doubt, the media is an important pillar of the state, at the same time it is causing some deterioration of society peace. It is the topic of many debates whether the media is a blessing or curse. The person linked with media research will argue both in the support and opposition of the media. The implications of media are not confined to the violence shown on media and its effect on increasing aggression and violence in real life. These concerns are not limited to any particular media type, and mostly apply to, music, video, computer games, film, and television. They analyzed the studies conducted between 1957 and 1990 and found that media violence has an impact on real life incidents. They also found that this impact might be moderate or large in strength, but, in short, the violence shown on media has its implication in real life of society. The videos games have been blamed to accept the responsibility to such violent actions. The films that show violent scenes also fall in the same category. It is not direct evidence that these games and usual violent behavior are linked with each other. The games may cast a positive impression as they are an endeavor to keep you safe from evil or something bad. It is the righteous guidance given by the games. The correlation founded by other researchers showing the linkage between video games and real violence ignores many important aspects of the study. Further, the video games taught us the understanding of pain. This understanding of pain makes us aware of the menace of violence and helps us to avoid the violent actions in real life.
