Moving in circular motions were frequent in the Russian folk dance and the Bhangra, where the Russian folk dancers moved about in pairs and individually, and both dances had circular motions involving jumping and isolating their feet. In the beginning of the Cuban Mambo, the female dancers walk in a sassy manner as the male dancers would follow them and engage in a dance with their counterparts. There is a moment in the Cuban Mambo where the male and female dancers separate into their groups and have a dance-off of sorts which reflects the playful mood the dance presents. The Russian folk dance does not appear to have some sort of hidden message besides sharing a piece of their culture. The Bhangra has a celebratory mood to the dance, and the constant cheering from the audience further brings out the lively nature.
