Creating Positive Interpersonal Communication

As a Store Manager, it is my responsibility to drive associate engagement and encourage positive interpersonal communications. This occurs through creating and implementing innovative strategies, which create constructive relationships and organizational structure. In addition, it facilitates and fosters collaborative relationships between employee and employer, and leads to a positive work environment. There are several methods to improve culture, interpersonal relationships, and organizational structure; these can include, an open door policy, ethical decision making, company sponsored events, positive coaching sessions, adequate training, constructive feedback, rewarding contest, gift giveaways, recognition programs, etc.
During the course of my career, I have focused on producing a positive work environment for my associates, this has occurred through pioneering strategies that involve associates in key decisions. It has also required me to express constructive criticism, and be open to similar feedback. In addition, the implementation of an open
