Cracker Barrell Old Country Store Inc.: Case Study

The cmpany that I currently work for is Cracker Barrell Old Country Store INC. As the lead TOGO server I am responsible for implementing changes to the TOGO processes as well as training all new TOGO hires and furthered training of current employees on any new processes or changes that are implemented. The change that will be taking place in the near future is a new TOGO and catering process, which includes many changes to the current process as well as the addition of new steps, services and menu choices to the process. The change goal is the new TOGO procedures and Catering introduction being implemented effectively. The purpose of the change and introduction of the new process is to increase the amount of TOGO order volumes, increase simplicity …show more content…
The management of the company are responsible for initiating training and ensuring that each employee is trained equivalently to make sure that everyone has the same knowledge of processes and is equally prepared to implement them. Employees will be implementing the process along with the frontline managers who will be ensuring customer satisfaction and gathering feedback from guests on the new process. A company meeting will be held to inform employees and managers of changes to come and receive any feedback. Job descriptions for new associated positions will be posted and available to all employees, and those interested will speak to management (DeCenzo, 2013). In order to motivate and encourage job performance and productiveness employees must have clear knowledge of what is expected of them from the beginning of the introduction to new processes and when it is being implemented (DeCenzo, 2013). The change and new process will go into effect on the specified date discussed in the meeting, this date will affect all stores within the corporation to continue with the consistency of products and
