Arguments Against Internet Censorship

There are conflicting views on the degree of damage that access to Internet can do to our society. A large number of people claim that as more and more people become familiar with Internet, the potential of its damage grows to an uncontrollable rate. Whereas some people claim that any regulation to limit the access of Internet is an act of violation against their first amendment rights. Because in some cases there are no restriction to what can be put one the internet, what can be viewed on the internet, or who can view what is on the internet. Internet censorship has brought much controversy in the past decade. There are many different arguments for and against censorship. Some needs to be censored, but the governments who have no right to interfere with everyone’s rights usually do a censorship. It is crucial to consider that the opinions on this topic are divided. Even tough, some people believe that government should censor the Internet, for some benefits of society; many people are offended and feel that their rights are jeopardized.
In conclusion, there are many opinions pro and against censorship, but in this case censorship has more bad than good sides. People should educate their children in a better way and should not wait for the government to educate their children about moral values. The best way to censure the content viewed on Internet is through self-consciences and control. Every human being has some fundamental rights provided by the organic law. Freedom of speech and right to be informed are one of these laws. People should feel free to send and receive e-mails, and search Internet without any
