As written by Bradbury, Clarisse says, “I’m afraid of children my own age. They kill each other. Six of my friends have been shot in the last year alone”(Bradbury, 27) This shows how cruel, dangerous, and aggressive these kids can be when they are at school, and how the people do not care about the health and well-being of others. Although children do not get that aggressive in our society, there are fights and bullying that occur at school that is dangerous, like getting murdered. That similarity makes it clear that the children at school are becoming aggressive to the point where they are harmful to others. Clarisse also realizes that kids are not really learning or even trying to learn. Mentioned by Bradbury, it also states, School is shortened, … English and spelling gradually gradually being neglected, finally almost completely ignored”(Bradbury, 53). Our society is kind of similar because although we use grammar and spelling rules in school for essays and other writing, we usually go away from grammar and spelling rules when we are not in school, even more so when we are on a device. This is because we want to take the easy way out by typing less and thinking less about the grammar rules and spelling because it is a faster way. In both societies, we have lost true connection with people ever since the arrival of technology, and although we do have feelings, unlike the society in the book Fahrenheit 451, both societies are greedy because they always want more technology to satisfy their happiness. Another caution that needs consideration is the fact that both worlds have very aggressive people, both kids and adults who brings people down, both physically and mentally .
