Dyslexia is not tangible, but sufferers struggle socially, physically, and emotionally. The sufferer often struggles to meet the expectations of a teacher and it often goes unnoticed by a trained eye. A well trained teacher should be able to identify the student with dyslexia’s efforts to learn to read and write. The student with Dyslexia may not exhibit symptoms early on, but will lag in learning to read and write. The great efforts of the student will only be noticed by a trained teacher. The most important correction is that students with Dyslexia do not see words backwards. I commonly thought the reversal of letters what how they saw it, but it is in the interpretation of left and right instead. It boils down to the processing of words only happens in the right hemisphere of the brain, while non-suffers also use areas on the left hemisphere. An intense multisensory structured language interventions can help the student with Dyslexia more effectively utilize the left hemisphere of their brain and more effectively decipher written
