As per Mashari, education should be offered to all members of the health care team for them to have the same knowledge base (2012) and by such, ensure the continuity of the culture of safety for patients. Lastly, it will be important, as a future physician, to maintain a healthy patient-physician relationship by asking them their input on their care, because they will be in charge of their health (RCPSC, 2005).
