“Christology for the New Millennium” First, “Christology is the theological study devoted to answering two main questions: Who is Jesus? (the question of his identify) also What is the nature and significance of what Jesus accomplished in the incarnation? (the question of his work). Now, the meaning of Millennium refers to the thousand-year reign, to anticipate that the new millennium will occur at some future time (Grenz 25, 79). With the meaning of both words in mind, Christology for the New Millennium seems to practice Christ in everyday life which be covered later in this paper. However, in preparing my paper on “Christology for the New Millennium,” after prayer on where to begin, two Scriptures came to mind, the first, (“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrew 13: 8).” Meaning in a changing world we can trust our unchanging Lord. In the new millennium changes in conduct begin when the Holy Spirit truly lives in each person. The second scripture is (“Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear, Mark 13: 31 NLT).” Meaning, the truth of Jesus Christ’ word, His eternal truth will never change. It does not matter, what millennium, or the teaching that contradicts the Bible, the Word of Christ will stand. Not my word, your word, nor the word of the LGBT. These letters stand for “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.” They also stand for “love, grace, beauty, and truth.” If understanding correctly, the same…
