Christianity believes that their god created the universe and everything in it and created humans in God’s own image. That he is a loving god that cares about humans the living and even the unborn life and that he has given us medicine to help us deal with illnesses that have plagued our world. The Islamic religion also believes that their god created the universe and all that live but, not in his image. Allah the Muslim God upholds to the virtue or each life. Muslims believe that they are given sicknesses as trials to see if their faith is worthy. It is important to understand each person’s religion and how that religion views medicine because in healthcare there our thousands of people coming in and out of a hospital and each one of them views the world through a different lens. By understanding the base of a person’s religion can lead to more satisfactory in the patients’ health care experience and can know hope to help the patient cope with their illness.
