Our world is filled with all different types of religions and world views there are roughly 4,700 religions and each one has a different way of looking at health care and what we should do when a person becomes sick or with illness but, in my essay I will be looking at Christianity and Islam and how they think we should address abortion and cancer treatments. It is not for me to say whether I think one is better over the other but to analyze how each one works and how they address health treatments in their own way.
Initially, the Christian worldview comes from the bible God word given to humans. In Christianity they believe that there is an absolute God and he is self-sufficient and eternal. He was not created nor does he change. “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” (1 Corinthians 8:6) Christians believe that their God created the Universe and everything in it including us. It is also understood that he made a heaven and hell. Because the Christian God loves humans he made them in his own image. All creation was made by him and humans were given domain over Gods creation, that we may cultivate and respect it. Humans are not perfect we were given a perfect world with no sin but because of our predisposition towards sin. We were kicked out of the Garden of Eden and sin entered the world.
