Networks are very important to spread a message to many people (Stark). Any shift of social networks will always result in some type of religious change (Stark). Research shows that religious conversions happen through social networks. We ourselves have many networks that lead to many friendships. Christ and his disciples used networking to get the word out by just talking to people. They would just start to talk and the people would listen to what they had to say and they would start following the group. At this point it was all about evangelism and spreading the word of God. In today’s society, networking and networks do wonders for the Roman Catholic Church. When Pope Francis was elected Pope there was an increase of Church attendance and it increased whenever he would talk to the media and travel the world. He called each of us to bring His kingdom on Earth as it is in heaven. He wanted us to do this so that we can truly change the world. Jesus taught us a lot of messages but the most important lesson he taught us was that the least you do to me. This means that we should treat everyone how we would want to be treated. None of this could have happened if Christianity was not formed this particular way. Christianity was made this way because of Jesus’ teachings that were spread throughout the region by him and his disciples. Social networks also played a role in the spread of Christianity because Jesus’ followers were able to go throughout the region proclaiming His word. Jesus’ disciples also influenced women to be active in the Catholic faith. Jesus was always there to help women, children, the sick, the poor, pretty much everyone.
