Climate change has been happening for centuries. There has been time where the planet was frozen, making the planet an ice age. Now, temperatures have been rising for centuries and this is causing multiple events to happen. Species will start to go extinct and this can cause many other species to go extinct as well. Humans can be held responsible for the temperature change because of all the different kinds of gases people put into the air. There’s multiple kinds of gases people use that goes into the air each and every day. One of the kinds of gases people release into the air comes from the burning of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels include coal, oil, and natural gas. When people burn fossil fuels, they release carbon dioxide into the air. When this happens, the carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere causing the temperature to rise. Greenhouse gases trap heat and when people burn more gases, those gases get trapped as well. Fossil fuels are considered a nonrenewable resource and people someday will not be able to burn fossil fuels anymore. When people have a nonrenewable resource this means that the resource will not last forever. People have depended on fossil fuels for decades, knowing that one day people will not be able to use them anymore. People have been using fossil fuels because there was no way to have renewable energy back then, but now people have the technology to use renewable energy. This is why people have made other kinds of resources that are…
