In the novella, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, there are many things that effected Ebenezer Scrooge’s personality from the beginning of the story to the end. The ghosts of the Past, Present, and Future change his unpleasant behavior
In the first Stave of the story, the writer is introducing Ebenezer’s character. We learn that he is unkind to people in his community and his family. Scrooge is grumpy and rude to his employees, and only cares about himself and money. Charles Dickens does an exceptional job of portraying the old man’s persona.
