It is largely due to the fact that homework has still been stressed upon as it is an important activity but how it is managed is what counts because students need time on their own to complete their daily life activities which help them reduce their level of stress and satisfy their need for socialising. Elementary school kids need to develop the habit of doing homework as it will be easier for them to cope up with the heavy assignment and projects workloads in the future when they enter the university. With more and more stress being laid on assignments and homework in higher studies due to the lower study hours at the institutes it is important that students learn from their earlier academic phases that homework is an important part of the final course grade and should be given importance it. However, homework creates stress, therefore it is advised to the parents that they must ensure that their kids have sufficient time on their hands to complete the tasks that are on the minds of the children so after they are done with their tasks, they can sit down and actually concentrate on the matter at hand. So, it is safe to say that homework is an important but at the same time it is also important to keep in mind that students are also humans who must be given time to reduce their stress level and given playtime to overcome issues such as obesity or lack of social interaction.
