I am a simple man from London during the late 1300s. I was walking the streets of London at around midnight, during mid winter. Not many people were out in the streets, many stayed in their homes sleeping and keeping warm, but tonight I was restless, the night seemed different. Somewhere deep inside I felt something, but I continued walking down the street. Then I saw a shadow of what looked like a man, I couldn't help but cautiously stare at him as I walked, keeping my hand close to the dagger I keep on my person incase of danger. I looked out the window from the warmth of my bed, but I couldn't see the street, all I could see was the fine snow crystals falling from the sky. By now it was starting to get cold in my little house, so I crawled out of bed and put a bit of kindling and logs on the fireplace so I could light a fire and warm up the house. As I started lighting the fire I heard a sound outside, it sounded like a bunch of people were chanting words. I couldn't make out what they were saying. Then I heard a cracking sound, kind of like the cracking of a whip. Startled, I walked over to the window to see what was going on and there were these strange people walking up the street with their heads down wearing robes with strange hoods striking themselves with a whip, each strike splattering blood everywhere. I didn't want to risk catching what they had. There was just to many infected people, and the guards would soon be over run. Then I remembered was an old cabin in the woods not far from here I could ride to it in a days time. I rode past some guards who were running in the direction of the infected and they shouted "stop!" but they didn't pursue me after I rode by they continued on their way. My horse was at full speed and I could see the gates, I rode out past two foot soldiers they did not stop me they just continued drinking as I rode by and raced up the road. After a few hours I turned on a dirt path and finished my trip, by the next afternoon I arrived at the cabin and tied up my horse, unpacked my things and started putting them in the old cabin I had some food, water,some clothes, a bow with some arrows and some other possessions. Out here no one could find me I can wait out this plague until I die of old age, I have a stream nearby and I have the ability to hunt for
