With the rapid development of the society, the living standard of people is getting better. However, people also become busier than before, they do not have enough spare time to pay attention to their daily diet and healthy. There is an old proverb in China which is disease enters by the month, so the dietary habit is very important for everyone, and keep a low-fat diet is an easy and effective way to keep healthy. Although low-fat diet is not a strange phrase for us, the actual relationship between fat and health is still unknown by the public. In this essay, the way of fat affect the health is determined through the research, and discussions about the benefits of low-fat diet are also given. Finally, low-fat diet can help to maintain physical fitness and keep disease away. Bradford (2015) defines that low-fat diets are diets that dramatically limit the grams of fat a person is allowed to consume throughout the day. In other words, foods that contain a small amount of fat, especially triglycerides, and cholesterol are known as the low-fat diet. Low-fat diet is commonly used to lose weight, and also suitable for anti-hyperlipidemia, reduce the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, cerebrovascular disease, etc. A low-fat diet recommends that people should pay more attention to intake of Cereals, potatoes and all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables.
