“You can do anything you set your mind to,” this is one of the many things my mother has told me. She is a grateful woman who has strived hard in life to get where she is. She has always been a hardworking mother. She has never given up on anything in life no matter how hard it is. She has always taught my sisters and me to never give up on anything we want in life.
Being a mother of three children can be quite challenging sometimes. She found out she was pregnant at seventeen; however, she had me when she was eighteen. As a young mother you go through several obstacles in life. No matter what obstacle she has went through she has never gave up. She was twenty-one when she had my twin sisters. He use to spend time with us, and take us on vacation. He doesn’t do that anymore. He has become an alcoholic, and doesn’t work. My mother is having to work all week and on weekends to pay the bills and make sure we are taking care of. She has practically raised us by herself. He use to work off in different states, which was hard when we were younger, but it helped pay the bills. We have struggled in life, but no matter what she is always strong for us. Losing my grandmother is one of the hardest tragedies, I have ever seen my mom go through. My grandmother was my world. I can remember walking by her room and hearing her cry. She is one of the most kind-hearted people I know. My mother is truly my best friend. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her in my life. We have been best friends since the day I was born.
