Facts: On August 20, 1955, during a baseball game between the Nashville Vols and Chattanooga Lookouts in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Vols pitcher Gerry Lane was pitching to the plaintiff, Lyle Luttrell, when the fourth pitch hit Luttrell on his backside.
