Attacks of 9/11: An Analysis September 11th, 2001 is a day that will live in infamy, however not because of joy and celebration; it was a day of sadness and loss for thousands of people in America. The intent of the attack came as a way for the enemy to show force with as little casualties for them, however sending a message we are not safe and in the blink of an eye, thousands of us can die. Unfortunately, we Americans have witnessed this firsthand and will have footage to show or stories to tell to our children’s children. Tales of how we are vulnerable to attacks and will always remember a terrorist we knew and grew to hate, Osama Bin Laden who was responsible for it all. For those who do not know what happened the morning of September 11th, four airplanes flying out of airports in Boston Logan International, Dulles International and Newark International all had terrorists on the planes with a sinister plan to attack America. At “7:59 am, American Airlines Flight 11, with 92 people aboard, takes off from Boston’s Logan International Airport en-route to Los Angeles” ( Staff, 2011). This flight is hijacked within 15 minutes of taking off, and hitting the North tower of the World Trade Center (WTC) 30 minutes later; killing everyone onboard and those within the building/floors of impact.
