Not only for religious reason, as it is not seen as normal or acceptable in their religion. It is usually shunned and frowned upon. More so parents that actually listen to their children and help these kids that are discovering who they are. As you go into the world of learning about the transgender community you start to realize what actual troubles they go through. Even the process of actually getting their names and genders legally changed. Gender and Sex is considered to be the same thing. As you ask people what the difference is most will tell you there isn’t a difference. These people would be wrong. Gender and Sex are different. “Gender is not inherently nor solely connected to one’s physical anatomy”. A person’s biological gender, also known as sex, is what involves a person’s physical anatomy. Your physical anatomy would include sex chromosomes and hormones, gonads, external genitalia, and the internal reproductive structures. There are cognitive ways in which the brain is developing. During this stage a child is getting out of their egocentric ways and are becoming more aware of their surroundings. Since this is happening typically a child might begin to notice the differences in their peers dressing. This would because they would currently be starting school. Or already be in school, and also be exposed.
