Some of Home Depot’s corporate strategies couldn’t get better if the company desired for it to do so. The Do-It-Yourself company ranks first in its market and second to Wal-Mart (Parnell, 2014). From a corporate’s perspective, company had retail sales of $88.5 billion and $7 billion in earning in 2015 (www.homedepot.com, 2016). Also, its stock prices reached over $130 per share in fiscal year 2015 (www.homedepot.com, 2016). However, the management team must master how to look beyond their job description to improve all entities of strategies for the company (Rodzvilla, 2015). With a goal of $101 billion by 2018, managers must work together to ensure that activities of the corporate-level strategies are carried out as planned (Parnell, 2014).
