When people think of organizations such as Apple and Walmart, the building is not what most people think of to define the organization; the customers love the product or the low cost the organization provides. Holacracy is a organizational and cultural change where workers participate in multiple areas. In the Holacracy structure, these areas are called circles and the employees have different roles and responsibilities in each circle (Conine & Babbitt, 2014). Also in the Holacracy organization, the focus is on the work not the people responsible for the area. The Holacracy system is maded up of four structural dimensions which are Organizational Structure, Organizational Control, Core Practices, and Shared Language and Meaning (Conine & Babbitt, 2014; Robertson, 2007).

Miles and Snow’s Typology is about adaptation cycles of organizational strategies based off of performance (Zubaedah, Fontana, & Afiff, 2013). The Miles and Snow typology is comprised of four business strategies: analyzer, defender, prospector, and reactor. Depending on the lifecycle of the organization determines which business strategy the company uses (Daft, 2015). In a changing environment the analyzer strategy reviews the data and tries to stabilize the company by using methods of the defender strategy and some of the prospector strategy. The analyzer attempts to keep the current product stable while seeking to enhance new products. If the industry turns for the worst, the defender strategy tries to maintain the current customers and keep the high quality product the organization currently produce. During a changing environment, the prospector strategy seek opportunity for the organization to be creative and take risk on innovative ideas. However, during the same environmental change some companies use the reactor strategy to respond to threats to the organization’s core competency (Daft, 2015; Zubaedah, Fontana, & Afiff, 2013).
