American Revolution Essay
The American Revolution is a war to reckon with and was actually a significant event in the history of American and basically, if there was no revolutionary war the United States of America may not have been in existence. The American Revolution brought an end to the two centuries of British rule for most of the North American colonies and brought the modern U.S.A. The American Revolution was all about people that got tired of the stress of paying for big government and that made the people revolt about the tax.

These taxes affected only a certain part of the population, the merchants and shippers because they were actively involved with supplying food and supplies to the British Army. Colonials, so they felt that the new tax program was the major reason and as the protests against American Revenue Act progressed, it became an economic impact rather than the constitutional issue of taxation without representation that was the main focus for the Americans. The British actually placed this tax on sugar because they wanted more money and they wanted to use this money to provide better security to the colonies and the British felt that the Sugar act would box the colonist to a corner and make them sell their goods to Britain as opposed to selling to other countries and really upset the colonies, because the simple truth is that, if they only sell to the
