He would send most of them to concentration camps. Where they would work long hours doing manual labor. Many would barely get anything to eat. And they would be in a dark and hot environment. Disease would travel very quickly having hundreds of people in the same facility. Three to four people would share a bed together. And many would pass away in their sleep. When the people passed away, sometimes they weren’t taken to be buried for days or weeks. Every morning the people would be sent out, and called for roll call. If you were only a minute late, or missed your number you would be punished. Those who didn’t end up in concentration camps. Ended up in a gas chamber facilities. Gas chamber facility would be in many types of forms. For example Gas vans would transport prisoners to places, however the prisoners wouldn’t make it to their location. Henry Oster was born and lived in Germany, for most of his life. Oster and his parents were deported to Poland. While in Poland his father passed away from malnutrition. Later on Oster and his mother were separated to different camps. Sadly Oster and his mother never got too see eachother again. Several years later Henry Oster was put on death row, and remained there till the liberation freed him. He was very thankful for his life, and he was able to survive a terrible and dreadful experience. Henry Oster married his wife Susan in 2001. And they have children and grandchildren which he enjoys spending time with. Henry Oster is a inspirational speaker, and speaks about his experience at many museums and organizations.(13:1)
Adolf Hitler targeted many groups, and many people lost their lives. Lives were broken and many people, couldn’t recover from the horrific experiences. Hitler was a man of power and wanted reign over everything. He saw himself and his race as superior and nobody else. Today we still face discrimination and those seeking power. And in this world we will always face it, hopefully one day will be able to rise above it. And what has happened in the past will stop recurring itself in the present.
