To be a sport coach, one is required to has the coaching skill. Sport coaches have to be able to clearly stated their expectation and goals as it provides the athlete a clear training direction. Sport coaches need to be able to demonstrate new skills to the athletes as well. By showing the athletes some tactics in playing a game can improve their performance. When they know the skills of playing the game, they are more likely to perform better as their confident level to master the game have increased. Apart from that, during the training session, sport coaches need to guide the athlete to use the sport equipment properly in order to prevent the athlete from injury. A clear instruction can ensure the safety of an athlete as well as providing a training direction to them. Besides, providing constructive feedback to the athlete is part of the responsibility of being a sport coach. This is due to the

When clients are confronting their problem, psychologist should give full attention to what the clients have said. Psychologists need to provide adequate time to the clients as it allows the clients to explore their feelings and thoughts. Psychologist have to be able to ask appropriate questions while listening. Through asking question, it help ensuring that the psychologists have received the correct message from the clients. Sometimes, the psychologists need to restating or rephrasing the clients’ speech to achieve mutual understanding. However, all the question will ask after the client have finished speaking to prevent interrupting. On top of that, encouraging the clients to continue their speech is one of the components of active listening. Psychologists will also show some non-verbal feedback such as nodding the head and making eye contact to the client while they are speaking.
