A day before the Pearl Harbor attack FDR which was the president sent a letter for peace to the Empire of Japan. It was too late for that because since November 26th, of 1941, Japans navy left home port and headed to Hawaii. It was already planned out and there was no peace made. The event that dragged the United States into World War 2 is the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, of 1941. It’s brings sad memories and it was something that the U.S was expecting at that time. The attack was made in the morning around 7:48 a.m. it was Sunday. That’s a day is known for being with family and enjoying it together. Well that Sunday wasn’t anything like that because 353 Imperial Japanese fighter planes, bombers and torpedo planes launched
