A Christmas Carol The author Charles Dickens wrote the famous short story A Christmas Carol in the 1840s of London, England. The Christmas carol’s meaning is to be thankful for what you have and not desire the help of others one day someone will need help. A wrenching old man troubled about his riches move than human society; however, visitors came to speak to him about the future, present, and past. It is a truthful meaning and an excellent eye opener to all readers. Charles Dickens was born on 7th of February in 1812 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England and died on the 9th of June in 1870 in Gad’s Hill, near Rochester Kent, England. Dickens’ family started sinking in to poverty and in to debt. Dickens had a job since he was 15 years old in his father’s office for a law firm also he worked on comic sketches of English Life Magazines.
