Distal -> proximal: far aide first; fingers to shoulder; toes to hip

Assess pain and bathroom prior


Fold washcloth like a mitt


Wash, rinse, pat dry, moisturize


Special attention to skin folds


1 wash eyes first. No soap, inner to outer canthus, separate part cloth


2 front: face, neck, arms, chest, abdomen, legs, perineum


3 back: back, buttocks, anal area
