Mainly used to treat patients in vasodilatory shock states such as septic shock and neurogenic shock and has shown a survival benefit over dopamine. Also used as a vasopressor medication for patients with critical hypotension

Epinephrine

Epinephrine injection is indicated in the emergency treatment of allergic reactions

Lorazepam

Lorazepam is FDA-approved for the short-term relief of anxiety symptoms related to anxiety disorders and anxiety associated with depressive symptoms such as anxiety-associated insomnia. It is as well used as an anesthesia premedication in adults to relieve anxiety or to produce sedation/amnesia and for the treatment of status epilepticus.11Some off-label indications of lorazepam include rapid tranquilization of an agitated patient, alcohol withdrawal delirium, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, muscle spasms, insomnia, panic disorder, delirium, chemotherapy-associated anticipatory nausea and vomiting, and psychogenic catatonia

Lithium

They are used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, since unlike most other mood altering drugs, they counteract both mania and depression. Lithium can also be used to augment other antidepressant drug

Fluoxetine

Labeled indication include: major depressive disorder (MDD), moderate to severe bulimia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, and combination treatment with olanzapine for treatment-resistant or bipolar I depression.

Bupropion

Bupropion is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD), seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and as an aid to smoking cessation.

Amitriptyline

Management of neuropathic pain in adultsProphylactic treatment of chronic tension-type headache (CTTH) in adultsProphylactic treatment of migraine in adults

Alprozam

Alprazolam is indicated for the management of anxiety disorder, anxiety associated with depression, panic disorder, and panic disorder with agoraphobia.Label Alprazolam may also be prescribed off label for insomnia, premenstrual syndrome, and depression.

Carbidopa/levodopa

is primarily used to manage the symptoms of Parkinson's disease but does not change the course of the disease.

Benzotropine

Benztropine is indicated to be used as an adjunct in the therapy of all forms of parkinsonism. It can also be used for the control of extrapyramidal disorders due to neuroleptic drugs.

Valproic acid

Use as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy in the management of complex partial seizures and simple or complex absence seizures.2) Adjunctive therapy in the management of multiple seizure types that include absence seizures.3) Prophylaxis of migraine headaches.4) Acute management of mania associated with bipolar disorder.

Phenytoin

For the control of generalized tonic-clonic (grand mal) and complex partial (psychomotor, temporal lobe) seizures and prevention and treatment of seizures occurring during or following neurosurgery.

Gabapentin

For the management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults and as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in patients over 12 years of age with epilepsy.

Carbazamezapine

For the treatment of epilepsy and pain associated with true trigeminal neuralgia.

Sumatriptan

For the treatment of migraine attacks with or without aura.

Methylphenidate

Methylphenidate is a central nervous system stimulant used most commonly in the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and for narcolepsy. Also known as the marketed products Ritalin, Concerta, or Biphentin, methylphenidate is used with other treatment modalities (psychological, educational, cognitive behaviour therapy, etc) to improve the following group of developmentally inappropriate symptoms associated with ADHD: moderate-to-severe distractibility, short attention span, hyperactivity, emotional lability, and impulsivity.
