What is the informal sector?

It is a unofficial and unregulated working sector and it is not controlled or regulated by the goverment.

Causes for the Informal sectors growth?

Often cause by a rapid growth of people looking to be employed in normal working sector meaning they can be charged less forcing them to look into other ways of gaining cash.

Example of informal sector?

Selling matches or another such goods on the streets or even begging for money

Benefits of the informal sector?

Provide cheap goods and the poor with a meaning of survival and encourage tourists to see a different culture although it does not break the cycle of poverty due tot hem earning so low.
