Assume position and confirm command Size up and situation evaluation- establish and continually review the known and unknown critical factors for situational awareness. Initiate maintain and control effective incident communication. Deployment- provide and manage an adequate stream of appropriate resources. Determine the incident strategy, develop an IAP, assign resources and personnel consistent with plans and SOPS Develop an effective organisation structure that is in balance with the type, scale and complexity of the incident Review and revise the strategy to keep IAP current Provide for the continuity, transfer or termination of command. |
