What is the purpose of the rating chain? |
Make sure a soldier is rated by a specific rater/senior rater. Allows proper development of rated soldier. |

1. Perform duties to the best of their ability. Stewardship of the profession. 2. Participate in counseling sessions during the evaluation period. 3. Assess and describe objectives and duties. 4. Sign and review admin data. |

1. Provide a copy of their support form to rated Soldier. 2. Discuss the duties of the rated Soldier and performance objectives. |

What are a senior rater's responsibilities? |
1. Review and evaluate the rated Soldier's performance 2. Evaluate rated Soldier for future assignment and responsibilities. 3. Ensure support forms are provided to rated Soldiers. 4. Assess and evaluate a Soldier's potential and performance against peers. |
