The "Zuni Way" is an all-encompassing approach to the universe. Everything within it is sacred, and through religion, harmony and balance are maintained. They are beautiful and their social and political organizations are complex and it is still very complicated for many outsiders to understand. Their matrilineal, crow system is so different from a lot of the basic standard idea of woman being property, and that the women come from the men. The Zuni are strong and they fought, they resisted and they have kept who they are, even today, alive because they were never forced from their homes, they never gave in. They never lost the most important pieces of their traditions and religion. They hold their societies and organizations today the same they did in the past decade or two. Not much has changed.
