Recycling is good for the environment. When people recycle they help eliminate the amount of garbage that gets put into landfills and is later buried. By eliminating that amount there will be more space to build houses and buildings. Recycling also helps to protect trees and other wildlife, because the more paper and paper products that get reused the fewer amount of trees that need to be cut down. Items that get recycled can be used to create new products that people need. For example, old paper can be made into a brand new notebook. Recycling also reduces water pollution by 27,047 tons every year so we can have cleaner drinking water to enjoy! As shown above, recycling is good for the environment.
