There is a saying that there is no bigger enemy to a man than a man himself (Petrarch). This saying is fair for all (males or females) though; in fact, no one can affect your life as much as you can do yourself both in a positive or a negative way. Do you have low self-esteem or high self-esteem? Since 85 percent of us have “self-esteem deficit” a phrase coined by Dr. Joe. That means you may: Be consumed by fear of failure, fail more often than not, tend to procrastinate, feel unfulfilled, frustrated, angry, unloved, unlovable, nervous or shy, be indecisive and suffer from many other uncomfortable feelings that prevent us from our realizing full potential. There are so many possible causes so many possible reasons why almost half of people/of the group of men and women are suffering with low self-esteem. What can cause low self of esteem? and how can we help this? Self-esteem is a confidence and satisfaction in oneself. In sociology and psychology self-esteem reflects a person’s overall subjective emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is a judgment of oneself as well as a (point of view/way of behaving) toward the self. Self-esteem includes beliefs about oneself, (for example, "I am (able to do something well/very good)", "I am worthy"), as well as emotional states, such as feelings that there is no hope, pride, and shame.
