As you go through history you will find many times where people claimed to be a messiah or a godly man and started a movement or religion. In this essay you will find many similarities between Shabbetai Tzvi and Yasho who were both big leaders in their times and to some turned out to be a fraud.

Shabbtetai Tzvi, born on August 1, 1626, in Smyrna, Turkey under the Ottoman Empire was very smart man and well learnt in all aspects of the Torah .He claimed that god chose him as the messiah to take the Jewish people out of exile to the holy land. As he traveled from city to city, his strong personality and self-indulgent behavior attracted many people. He even convinced the great rabbis of that time to believe in him as he was well versed in all rabbinical and Torah studies. He went around performing miracles as a sign of being a holy man which got many people to believe in him.

He was a first century Jewish preacher and religious leader. He is the central figure of Christianity whom they believe to be the messiah prophesied in the old testimony. His birth day is celebrated annually on December 25 (or various dates in January by some eastern churches) as a holiday known as Christmas. His crucifixion is honored on Good Friday, and his resurrection is celebrated on Easter. The widely used calendar era "AD”, from the Latin anno Domini ("in the year of the Lord"), are based on the approximate birth date of Jesus. As time went on he started his own ministry. He was known as the son of g-d and started preaching how to follow and worship god. He was arrested by the Jewish authorities due to his behavior and given over to the roman government where he was subsequently crucified on the order of Pontius Pilate, the Roman prefect.
