During President Donald Trump's inaugural speech, some of the words used and the order in which he used them, I believe was a choice, and there was a reason for it. President Trump began by aknowledging the presence of the former American presidents in attendance, calling the job done by former president Barrack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama "Magnificent". He then went to place emphasis on taking back the government from the politicians and the many faults of the previous administrations. One of which was the focus on Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton everytime President Trump criticised the former government and the crowd cheered, which might have been intentional. Another anomaly might have been the focus on a person who might have been a muslim, which I believe was done to show the viewers that even Donald Trump has convinced muslims to support him.
After analyzing the different choices used in the communication, its strategic uses, and the anomalies found, I still believe that the purpose of President Trump's inaugural speech was to emphasize that his government's focus and priority is on the American people.
